Amy Poehler

Amy Poehler is an American actress, comedian, director, producer, voice artist, and writer. She was born on September 16, 1971, in Newton, Massachusetts. Her parents, William Grinstead Poehler and Eileen Frances (Milmore) were high school teachers. Amy's brother, Greg Poehler, is a comedian too by profession. She knew English, German, and Portuguese from her father's side and Irish from her mother's side. While she was attending her Boston College, she got involved in sketch comedy and joined the troupe My Mother's Flea Bag. Later, she went to Chicago for her studies and attended Improv Olympic and Second City.

Amy and her husband, Will Arnett have two children together, both son's named  Archie and Abel born in 2008 and 2010 respectively. They both were announced their separation in 2012 and filed for divorce in 2014. Amy is a budding star in Hollywood too where she has worked in Blades of Glory which was released in the year 2007 with her husband. Her best friends from the industry are Tina Fey and Seth Meyers.
