Samik Roy Choudhury, born on August 30, 1983, in Kolkata, West Bengal, is a talented writer and director recognized for his work in the film industry. Growing up in a Bengali middle-class family in Calcutta, he started his career as a visual effects artist, working in renowned movies like "Life of Pi," "Night at the Museum – Battle of the Smithsonian," and "The Mummy – The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" during his tenure at the three-time Oscar-winning VFX studio, Rhythm & Hues Studios.
