A Post Production Assistant
A post production assistant is one who carries out all the operational tasks of the production process in collaboration with other departments. This work includes co-ordination of schedules among various people, assisting the editors as and when required, communicating among various departments on the set.
The Post Production Assistant works under the supervision of the Post Production Head. He/ She is also expected to help the post production head in every task that is undertaken.
This work can be quite hectic as co-operating with multiple members can not be done within a quick span of time. A post production assistant also does the daily routine work yet that is what matters the most. If the job allotted for every day goes as per schedule, there is going to be no discrepancies in completion of the production process and this is in hands of the Post Production Assistant and the way he does work on a daily basis.
