Plot
Suvarna Sundari, the Trinetri idol, is from the 15th century. The idol has a long history with some heart-breaking truth behind it. People who want to possess the idol or accidentally have it, face severe consequences in their lives. It has such a destructing power. Visalakshi is an archeologist who knows the nature of the idol well and tries to save the people from it. Anjali and Ram are a couple who approached a company for a deal. When they visit the company, they take a Lift with five people. After this, they have to see some unnatural deaths. What happened to Ram and Anjali? Why did the deaths happen? Will Visalakshi be able to save lives? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Jayaprada is impressive in her role. It is a treat to watch her performing after a long. Poorna, Sakshi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Sai Kumar did their best.
Analysis
We have seen a lot of stories related to idol possession, idol trafficking, etc. Though these kinds of historical scripts are made a lot of times, when it is made differently with good screenplay and neat performances, everyone would love to watch them. The screenplay and execution were better in the first half. The second half is quite okay, but it could’ve been shot better with some more logic. The VFX works are pretty decent. The visuals and editing are okay. The songs and the BGM could’ve been better, as it reminds us of some old horror thrillers.
