Anushka has a bloated appearance in the movie. She took up efforts to gain 20 kilos of weight for the character in the movie. She plays the role of Sweety in the movie. Her approach to life is such that solution to every problem lies in devouring sizzling hot jalebis. Urvashi, who plays the role of her mother, wants to find a suitable bridegroom for her daughter Anushka. Repeated efforts only result in failure, and her mother is vexed that her daughter cannot enter marital life. She takes a drastic measure by putting Anushka in a clinic that offers some drink to lose weight. One among the members, a girl, develops health complications following the treatment given. During those days, movies revolving around women characters were just experimental ventures. But now, times are changing, and tastes are differing. The movie stories have also undergone a cosmic change. For instance, stars like Anushka are revolutionizing the industry. Previously, she had given hit movies like Arundathi and blockbuster ‘Rudhramadevi’. The Tamil actor Arya is known for his preparedness to any role. And director Kovelamudi has attempted to deliver a powerful social message through this movie. Here is a scrutiny of the movie to know what it has for the audiences.
It is no exaggeration to tell that Anushka did full justice to her role. As of now, she seems to be the right fit for doing such roles in Tollywood. With her convincing performance, she has a point to prove. Her dedication is very obvious in the movie. Arya does the part given to him in an appreciable manner. Sonal Chauhan is a revelation as she has some scenes to showcase her acting talent. And not to miss Urvashi, who has done an admirable job of a distressed middle-class mother. Prakash Raj, as usual, does a great job as the villain. The other cast also does their parts well.
