Saakshyam Movie Review

3 / 5.0

Saakshyam is the film scripted and directed by "Srivaas." Abhishek Nama produced the film and “Harshavardhan” composed the music. “Arthur A Wilson” cranked the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited the film. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Pooja Hegde and Jagapati Babu are in the main star cast. Ravi Kishan, Ananta Sreeram, Ashutosh Rana and Vennela Kishore play supporting roles.

Vishwa who lives abroad falls for Soundarya Lahari, who comes from India. After she leaves for India, he follows her. He gets stuck with some family issues. Munuswamy and his family are the troublemakers and Vishwa had to face new issues daily. Why did they torture Vishwa? Vishwa doesn’t know how he is connected with them. Visit the theaters to watch the interesting movie.

Star Performance

Bellamkonda Sreenivas had done what is needed for his role. He had done a decent job in the stunt sequence. Pooja Hegde is cute and she had done her role decently. Jagapati Babu, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, Ananta Sreeram and Vennela Kishore had done justice to their roles.

Although the story is not new, the director has executed it neatly. Casting team should be appreciated for picking the biggies. Songs are not impressive and they put a hurdle to the movie’s flow. Cinematography and the other production works are good.

What’s There?

  • Star cast is a big plus
  • Performance by the stars is neat and good
  • Graphics works are good
  • The chemistry between the leads is good

What’s Not There?

  • Songs spoil the flow of the script
  • Comedy and romance could have been added a bit

Saakshyam is a youthful action romantic entertainer that attracts the audiences. Although it doesn’t have a new script, it impresses. Saakshyam – watchable once!
