Raju Gadu is the comedy entertainer scripted by Maruthi and directed by Sanjana Reddy. The film is produced by Sunkara Ramabrahmam under AK Entertainments Pvt Ltd banner. Raj Tarun plays the lead role. Amyra Dastur plays the female lead. Rajendra Prasad, “Sithara,” “Nagineedu,” “Prudhviraj” and Rao Ramesh are also in the star cast. Veligonda Srinivas penned the dialogues. Gopi Sundar composed the music. The cinematography is by B. Rajashekar and the editing is by MR Varma.

Raju meets Tanvi and he falls for her at first sight. Tanvi says that he has to impress her grandpa to marry her. Raju is a kleptomaniac and couldn’t control his hands from stealing things. Meanwhile, Raju decided to impress Tanvi’s grandpa and in the process, he had messed with Anji. Did Raju make it right and impressed Tanvi’s grandpa and get his permission to marry Tanvi? Watch the film in the cinema halls.

Star Performance

Raj Tarun’s performance is impressive. He has pulled out the role with ease. He has improved a lot in emoting well to different situations. Amyra Dastur’s performance is good and she had done what is needed for her role. Prudhvi’s comedy is good. As usual, the senior stars Nagineedu and Rao Ramesh had done a perfect job.

Sanjana comes with a good comedy script. Yet, Raju Gadu doesn’t seem to be a complete movie. The comedy scenes are purposely inserted in certain sequences. Some scenes look immature and the BGM didn’t gel with the script and the subplots are irritating. Casting department has done a great job.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars receives appreciation
  • The cinematography is impressive
  • The first half is refreshing

What’s Not There?

  • Comedy scenes are forcefully inserted in certain places
  • Illogical scenes irritate the audiences
  • Subplots are boring

Raju Gadu has its own flaws, but it makes the audiences entertaining. Although it is not a complete entertainer, it could be watched once. If you don’t see the logic and watch the film just for a time pass, then this film is for you!
