The film takes us back to a century. The devotional film starts with a kid named Rama, who searches God. He is taught how to meditate and get the dharshan of God by a saint. That guru also teaches him to play the dice. He grows up as an ardent devotee of Lord Venkatesa. When he was meditating, a kid disturbs him and this angers Rama. But Rama doesn’t know that it was the god, who played with him. Later, when he reaches home, his parents say that they have sought a girl for him to marry. On his marriage day, he goes to Tirupati, to see the lord. There he meets, Krishnamma, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkatesa. She suggests him to read a book, Venkateshwara Kshetra Mahatyam. After he reads the book, something interesting happens. What is that? Watch it in theaters.
Nagarjuna plays Hathiram Baba, an ardent devotee of God. He has made no mistakes in his performances. Similarly, Anushka’s Krishnamma role is quite impressive. Saurabh has fit well in his role. All the other stars have also performed well.
The director, Raghavendra Rao, proved his talent in making the spiritual films. He has passed yet another test and proved himself strong in the genre.

The film is for the people, who love to watch devotional genre. Nag fans have got the time to celebrate. Anushka’s extended cameo is one of the great pluses to the film. Om Namo Venkatesaya is worth watching.
