Happy Wedding Telugu Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Lakshman Karya
- Murli and Sumanth’s performance in the pre-climax is amazing
- Niharika played well in the emotional scenes
- Romantic scenes are less and the lead pair’s chemistry is not good
- Climax lacks logic
Happy Wedding is scripted and directed by Lakshman Karya and produced by UV Creations and Pocket Cinema. Shakthikanth Karthick composed the songs and Bal Reddy cranked the camera. “S Thaman” composed the BGM. Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika Konidela play the lead roles and the supporting star cast has Murli Sharma, “Indraja,” Naresh and Tulasi Shivamani.
Anand and Akshara are the lovers, who decided to get married. While taking it to their parents, Akshara gets confused, as if she is getting ready to marry without thinking twice. This brings a distance between the lead pair and their family too. What disturbed Akshara and why does she hesitate to get married. To know about it, watch the film in theaters.
Niharika has improved her acting from her debut film. While getting confused about the marriage, she emotes well. She has a lot of acting scope and she has justified her role. Sumanth Ashwin has given a decent performance. Tulasi, Murli and Naresh have done justice to their roles. Indraja needs a special mention here.
The director has come with a good theme that the current generation is not thinking deeply and taking decisions in a hurry. The cinematography is excellent and Thaman’s BGM is wonderful. Certain scenes could have been shaped well, especially the climax. Changing the mind is just like changing the costumes and this irks the audiences.
What’s Not There?
Although the film has some sensible theme, it misses the logic in many places. However, Happy Wedding is watchable once.
