Plot

Basathi Balaraju is a hearse driver who lives with his mother and his bedridden father. He falls in love with Mallika at her husband’s funeral. Mallika and her father-in-law disagreed with this proposal. The rest of the story has twists related to his mother and Mallika.

Star performance

Kartikeya is the highlight of the movie. He has been improving his roles in every movie. Lavanya Tripathi’s acting is very entertaining to watch. Aamani’s performance gives strength to the movie. Murali Sharma has understood the character’s inner world and enacted accordingly. Srikanth handled his role decently. All other cast have performed well in their assigned roles.

Analysis

In this movie, the director brings in an unusual plot. His direction takes up an emotional angle. He has narrated this movie decently and light-heartedly The dialogues are scripted in a good way. But there are confusions regarding where to bring in humor and where not to. Kartikeya has performed well by improving his style, dialogue delivery, and acting skills when compared to his previous films. This role of Basthi Balaraju is apt for Kartikeya. Lavanya has performed well, this movie provides an opportunity for her to showcase her skills. The mother’s role suits Aamani well and she deeply understands her role and enacts the emotions perfectly. Karm Chawla’s cinematography is excellent to watch, the camera angles awesomely portray the emotions as such and the editing is clean. The background music by Jakes Bejoy stole the hearts of the audience.

The story begins uniquely. It is an emotional movie that points out important aspects. The romance between Balaraju and Mallika is a bit lengthy. The Screenplay repeats the same aspect over and over again.

This movie portrays that women can only live happily with the presence of a man in their lives, which can affect the audience to think in the same way. Women's lives do not always revolve around their families. This movie fails to keep the audience entertained in most scenes.
