Ravindar’s daughter Aadhya is cared by her aunt Bhanumathi but in a remote place. Bhanumathi continues the good deeds done by her brother from her seat. When she hears about the release of Pratap Reddy, who has vengeance with their entire family, Bhanumathi tries to save her niece. She appoints Balakrishna to save Aadhya and at the same time, she announces that if anyone kills Pratap, they would be rewarded Rs. 10 crores. What did Balakrishna do? Did he succeed in saving Aadhya and kill Pratap? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Nara Rohit, who shed all his excess weight, looks smart and have also given a decent performance. Regina Cassandra is a template heroine and has nothing to prove her acting skill. Prudhvi’s comedy performance is excellent. Ramya’s role reminds us of “Baahubali” Shivagami Devi. Kota Srinivas Rao has no role in the film. Adithya Menon has done his part well in the limited role. Ajay has done a usual villain with a heart full of vengeance.

Analysis

Pavan Mallela has come with a regular script and the so-called twists are also predictable. However, the execution is proper. Prudhvi’s Maddy role is well scripted. The director should have concentrated much on the screenplay and have brought some new twists in the plot.

What’s There?

  • Star cast is the biggest plus in the film
  • Execution by Pavan is good
  • Prudhvi’s comedy is impressive
  • Visuals are cool

What’s Not There?

  • The screenplay is not a high paced for the road thriller script
  • Plain script with no twists and turns disappoints the viewers
  • Mani Sharma failed to impress with his music

Verdict

Although Balakrishnudu doesn’t come with a new script, it is not bad to watch. With the big star cast, the film is worth watching, once!
