Anaganaga Oka Chitram Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- J Prabhakar Reddy
- Megha Shree
Anaganaga Oka Chitram is a small budget film that has hit the screens recently. One will tend to wonder whether Anaganaga Oka Chitram is being directed by the filmmaker who has made Prema Katha Chitram. Well, this movie doesn’t quite work.
Shiva is carefree guy and works as a street vendor. To add to the love element he falls in love with Meghashri, who induces the importance of positive thinking in him.Megha Shri hails from an affluent family but unfortunately, she becomes poor. Shiva helps her in whatever way he can. It so happens that Shiva kidnaps Sayaji Shinde, to get money. Later our hero learns that Shinde is a higher police officer. There is also the Naxalite element in the movie. Well, watch the movie to know more.
Debutantes Siva and Megha Shri's performances are just ok thanks to their debut nature. The comedy element of Vennela Kishore is a major highlight of the movie. He will tickle your humor bones whenever he appears on the screen. Prabhas Seenu has done a commendable job and is good during the initial half of the movie. Prudhvi, Surya, and Sayaji Shinde have done full justice to their roles.
The storyline of the movie is good, but the director J Prabhakar Reddy has not delivered it well. Also, the director has given more importance to the comedy element of the movie.
The photography is quite good.
What’s not there?
1. The characters including that of the hero and the heroine could have been etched properly.
2. There are some meaningless scenes in the movie that could have been avoided.
3. The screenplay is not up to the mark.
4. The songs are mistimed.
5. The movie has very poor content.
6. The length of the flick could have been edited.
7. Vinodh’s music could have been better.
Vennela Kishore has done a great job, and he is the main saving grace of the movie. Otherwise, the movie is not presented well.
