Alludu Adhurs is an action-comedy entertainer scripted and directed by Santosh Srinivas. Gorrela Subrahmanyam produced the film that has Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the titular role. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. “Chota K Naidu” cranked the camera and Bikkina Thammiraju edited the film. Nabha Natesh, Anu Emmanuel, Monal Gajjar, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Vennela Kishore, Satya, “Brahmaji,” Chammak Chandra, Duvvasi Mohan, “Saptagiri,” Srinivasa Reddy, Mirchi Hemanth, Mahesh Vitta and Kadambari Kiran are in the cast.
Seenu, who had been in love with a girl during his school days, stay away from love after his unsuccessful love story. But, when he saw Kaumudi, the younger daughter of a village head, he instantly fell in love with her. But, the villain from the prison is also in love with the same girl. Already the girl’s father is against love after the death of Vasundhra, his elder daughter. Now, Seenu had to fight against the villain as well as Kaumudi’s father for his love.
Sreenivas had done his best to impress the audience. Nabha has nothing big to do, yet she is good in the given role. Anu Emmanuel impresses us even though she appears for a limited screen time. Prakash Raj is perfect as usual and so does Sonu.
The story is not new and so does the screenplay. If some interesting elements had been attached, the audience would have been impressed, though it is a usual story. Sonu Sood’s performance attracted the audience and this is a different villain role for him. The songs and BGM are okayish. The cinematography gives a pleasing experience to the eyes. The production values are so good and the makers had spent enormously giving the film a great appeal and succeeded in that aspect. However, the story and screenplay could have been better.
What’s Not There?
The biggest plus point is that the film has a good star cast. Although the film has some negative points, it could be watched once for the stars.
