ORE AST REW
- The script is different and interesting
- The production and technical values are okayish
- The characterization should have been better
- Certain scenes are ended abruptly and irk the audience
Yen Peyar Anandhan is scripted and directed by Sridhar Venkatesan. “Athulya,” Santhosh Pratap, Aravind Rajagopal and Deepak Paramesh are in the cast. Jose Franklin composed the music and the film is produced by Gopi Krishnappa.
Sathya is a filmmaker, who makes his debut as a short filmmaker. After making an award-worthy short film, he is getting ready to make a feature film. He plans to make a high-budgeted film, but to everyone’s shock, he was kidnapped on the first day of the shoot. What happened to him? Who kidnapped Sathya? Watch the film to know the rest.
The stars had done justice to the roles given.
The film is yet another different attempt in the Tamil movie industry. The script is quite interesting, but the way of execution needs quite an expertise. Some of the scenes are abruptly ended. Similarly, the characters are not designed properly. Both the lead characters didn’t have proper chemistry. The director means to say that cinema has more value than entertaining people. Yet, his execution lacks something. However, the film has something interesting for the moviegoers, as it carries an unusual script.
What’s Not There?
The film with a different subject created a huge expectation in the beginning. But, the characterization and some of the scenes made the expectations fade away. However, the film is watchable once for sure!
