Two families, PRV of Ramanathapuram and Samuthiram of Rameswaram, are arch-rivals. PRV’s youngest daughter, Selvi, elopes with her boyfriend of a different religion and paves the way for the Samuthiram family to bring the PRV family down. How PRV’s Ravi puts efforts to save his family forms the rest of the story.
Arun Vijay did a satisfactory job in the action role. Samuthirakani, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Radhika, Ramachandra Raju and others have done a decent job. Yogi Babu proved his mettle in an emotional scene.
The director is back to his form, after a long break. Though his previous films are super hits, his last couple of films were not impressive. Hari compensated those two flops with this film. The film has an equal proportion of action, sentiment, and romance. Hari should be appreciated for his character design. Radhika and Priya Bhavani Shankar are given good opportunity to showcase their talents. Radhika is already a versatile star. Priya utilized the opportunity, and so did Yogi Babu. The BGM by GV Prakash is good. The visuals are neat. Though the story is not unique, Hari made use of his sources to impress the audience.
- The performances of the stars are fantastic
- The execution is neat
- The BGM, visuals, and editing are okayish
What’s Not There?
- The story has the usual family clashes
The execution by Hari is impressive. If you are a fan of action movies with family sentiments, this film will impress you!
