Plot

Rudra and Nita are head over heels in love with each other. Rudra is an IT professional who suffers a blackout due to his work timings which spoils his sleep. Nita, who cares for him, wants him to get back to normal. So, she takes him to a hill station for complete relaxation without any work pressure. They stay in Vasantha Mullai villa. During their stay, Nita suffers from breathing issues, and when Rudra runs to get her an inhaler, Nita goes missing. Soon, Rudra gets chased by a masked guy. Without knowing who he is and why he chases, Rudra gets confused. What happened to Nita? Was Rudra able to find her out? Who is the masked person? The rest are dealt with in the second half of the film.

Star Performance

Arya has nothing significant to perform. Yet, he has done justice to the given role. Kashmira has done what was asked. Bobby Simha’s performance is extraordinary. He had always impressed the audience with his variety of roles right from “ Jigarthanda Click to look into! >> Read More... .” He has done his job perfectly as Rudra too.

Analysis

Though the story initially starts with a typical thriller plot, where the leads move to a mysterious villa, it travels on a different path. The screenplay is okay. But, if the director had concentrated well, the film would’ve set a new benchmark for the thriller genre movies. The visuals and the music are good. The BGM gives an eerie feel, and the dark visuals add the needed thrill. The film is technically sound, and the production values are decent too.
