“Thumbaa” is scripted and directed by Harish Ram LH. It is an adventure comedy thriller that has the smart star Jayam Ravi in a cameo role. “Darshan” of “Kanaa,” Keerthi Pandian, KPY Dheena and KPY Bala are in Thumbaa cast. A tiger named Thumbaa and its cub escape from Kerala. A forest officer tries to find Thumba along with poachers. After knowing their motive, Hari, Umapathi and Varsha try to stop them. Did they succeed? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Darshan should try to improve his performance. KPY Dheena is convincing in his comedy role. Keerthi Pandian is an impressive addition to Kollywood.

The script is good and the director has tried a lot to make the film impressive. But, it worked in parts. Yes, it impressed the kids than the adults. Thumbaa, the Tiger and Tiger, a monkey impressed the kids. Thanks to the CG Works that are excellent and make us feel that Thumbaa is real. Harish Ram should have concentrated a bit extra in the screenplay and execution. Thanks to Jayam Ravi for hyping up the expectation on the film. The music is good. The production and technical values are fantastic.

What’s There?

  • CG works are impressive
  • Jayam Ravi’s presence

What’s Not There?

  • The screenplay is not engaging
  • Mainly targeted for the kids and the elders are disappointed

As it looks like a kids’ film, the elders might not get impressed with the script and screenplay. However, Thumbaa is definitely a one-time watch with the family!
