Abishek is a versatile photographer, who wants to go to New Zealand to stop the marriage of his lady love. He asks the help from his childhood friend Sherin to accompany him on his trip to New Zealand. She agrees to come with him; but poor Abishek does not know her intention to accompany him. Thambi Ramayya has taken the role of a cheating husband, who escapes from his wife with a pack of lies.

Actually, Sherin accompanies Abishek to murder him, as she thinks that Abishek has murdered her brother. This is a weird thinking, as she is said to be the long time friend of him and when his brother is murdered by someone in a secret place, how come she think that the murder is by Abishek? The lover of Abishek is keenly interested on money and without knowing this Abishek has travelled so long to stop her wedding and this is atrocious.

Then coming to Vinay, the Abishek… He is looking lazier always and what happened to his brisk eyes? He looks sleepy always in all the scenes, including the scene in which he searched his lover. Thambi Ramayya is now seen is almost all the movies. Is there any famine for the comedians in the Tamil film industry? The comedy part seems boring. The language used by the New Zealand brought up people does not look like they are born and brought up in New Zealand; the terms used are the peculiar terms that we use here. The director should have concentrated, at least on that simple matter. Overall, Serndhu Polama makes the viewers very tired of its story, dialogues as well as performance.
