2.25 / 5.0

Ranga is scripted and directed by DL Vinod. “Sibiraj,” Nikhila Vimal, “Sathish,” Sujatha Babu, Lollu SabhaSwaminathan,” “Manobala” and Mohnish Raheja are cast. Vijay K Chelliah produced the film. Ramjeevan composed the music. Arvi and Ajith Vasudev cranked the camera, and the editing is by “Antony L Ruben.”

Aadithya has an alien hand syndrome. Aadithya and Abhinaya are childhood friends. They get married, hiding the truth that he has the alien hand syndrome from Abhinaya’s family. After the wedding, they go to Manali for their honeymoon. They stay in a hotel, where the owner has the habit of recording the private moments of the clients who stay at the hotel and earn bucks. Aadithya finds out this. Will he be the victim or escape from the place? The rest of the film deals with this.

Star Performance

Sibi and Nikhila have done what is asked. They don’t have good on-screen chemistry to boost up their roles.

The script is good, but the narration is not up to the mark. The execution is weak, and the supporting stars didn’t have good roles and are used just to crack some senseless jokes. The cinematography was good. The location was perfect for a thriller. The film would have been better if the leads had good chemistry.

What’s There?

  • The script is good

What’s Not There?

  • No chemistry between the leads
  • The execution is weak

If the execution had been good and the lead pair had a perfect synch, the film might have reached better!
