Queen Padmavati, who lived in the 13th century, is known for her mesmerizing beauty. Padmavati is not only known for her exceptional beauty but also for her intelligence and the love for her country and husband. Being the wife of Chittor King, Rana Rawal Ratan Singh, Padmavati had always felt pride on her country and her husband’s justice. When their life had been going on a smooth path, a huge danger advanced by their way in the form of Alauddin Khilji, who came to know about the beauty of the queen. Although he tried a lot to capture the kingdom and the queen, he failed a lot of times. But, for the final time, he gathers a huge force and attacks the Chittoor. Rana Rawal Ratan Singh fights hard to protect his kingdom and queen. But, his efforts went in vain. What is the decision by Padmavati is the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Shahid’s performance is perfectly perfect as the King. He has made no mistakes on his part. Deepika suit the best in the role as an intelligent and beautiful queen with justice. Deepika’s performance is simply superb and we can feel why Deepika fought hard for the film’s release. Ranveer played a barbaric sultan and had done justice to the role. Although Aditi Rao Hydari’s role is small, she had done it perfect.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali was impressed by the poem Padmavat written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. With the poem as the base, he scripted the film and it has come out really well. Sanjay Leela Bhansali had been a perfect filmmaker, who could add glitters to the scenes whether it is sentimental or romance. He has given such a grandeur film that fills the heart and eyes of the viewers. In simple, the technical values and the production values are great.
