Plot

Varun is a smart youngster and he is the son of the politician. Varun doesn't like his father's corrupt behavior. Varun didn't expect that his father will surprise him like this and yes his father makes him a temporary CM. Varun was not interested in becoming the CM of the state and he does some silly things even though he is now on the Chief Minister chair. But an incident makes his mind to behave a sensible person and he started doing the duties of the CM. His sincerity didn't go well with his dad and he starts pestering him. How Varun fights against his father and continues to be the CM is the rest of the story!

Star Performance

Vijay Devrakonda has performed well and his stylish looks and dialogue delivery are incredible. Sathyaraj, Nassar and the rest of the supporting cast had done their job well.

Analysis

Anand Shankar has brought down some good political script and he had not elevated heroism and made the film as a normal one. The star cast is pretty good. However, some flashback scenes between Sathyaraj and Nassar don’t have anything useful for the script. Probably, Vijay Deverakonda might have accepted this story as it might be new to Tamil. But the similar kinds of stories are not new in Telugu and Mahesh Babu Born on 9 August 1975 in Chennai, Mahesh Ghattaman >> Read More... movie Bharath Ane Nenu as the CM is the similar kind of story. The background music and cinematography are good. The production and technical values are good.

Verdict

Although there are three leading ladies, they had nothing big to do in the movie. It is Vijay Deverakonda who carries the film on his shoulders and Sathyaraj supports him. However, we should appreciate the director for speaking about the current political scenario. NOTA could be watched once!
