Plot: Maha Maha is the film directed by the new comer Mathivanan Sakthivel. Mathivanan Sakthivel has also acted in this film as a hero. Along with him Melissa, Nizhalgal Ravi, Meera Krishnan, Indra, Anupama Kumar and Sharmili are there in the story.

Maha Maha is the story of a young man who moves to Australia for his job and falls in love with an Australian girl. Later he comes to know that the girl is a suspect in a murder case and he is also made as a suspect in that case, as he is seen with her. Will the hero escape from the case? Will his love succeed? All these questions are solved in the climax of the film.

Being a newcomer who is born in India and brought up in Australia, Mathivanan Sakthivel has performed well as a protagonist. He mixes all the emotions and performs well and also he does not look like a newcomer; instead shows maturity in his performance. He has selected the good actors in Tamil Cinema like Nizhalgal Ravi and Meera Krishnan to accompany him in his debut movie as an actor, producer and a director.

The heroine selection is also good and Melissa performs her role rightly. As Mathivanan is from Australia, he has selected the best locations in Australia that are the good treat to the eyes of the viewers. By this attempt, Mathivanan takes the Tamil culture to the Non Resident Indians in Australia. The Cinematography is also excellent by Prem L Premavan. The Music is scored by Ilayaraja’s nephew Pavalar Siva, which are soothing. The title song Maha Maha is excellent than any other songs in the movie.

To give a short review, it is worth watching, with different story with new leads and known character artists. Maha Maha…. Mathivanan’s classy debut!
