Ranasingam and Ariyanachi are young couples in a village. Ranasingam works in Dubai and leaves his family in his village. Unfortunately, he dies in Dubai and his family finds it hard to bring his body back to the village. The main thing is that Ariyanachi had to prove that Ranasingam is her husband, to get his mortal remains. As they hadn’t registered their marriage, she couldn’t prove it. What are the efforts taken by the young lady to prove that she is Ranasingam’s wife? Did the government officials help her in this regard? Watch the film to know the rest.
Vijay Sethupathi did his best in the limited screen time. His presence adds great value to the film. Aishwarya Rajesh is an excellent actress and we already know it. She had once again proved her mettle with a natural performance. The rest of the stars including Pandey, Abhishek, Siva and Munishkanth did the given job well.
The director had made a good attempt in his debut film. Aishwarya Rajesh is a good choice and the actress fits well in the role. However, the movie seems to be a bit lengthy. If the director had cut some scenes and made it crisp, it would have been a recommendable watch. The BGM is neat and there is no negative feedback for the cinematography, as well. The production values are okay for the budget.
What’s Not There?
Ka Pae Ranasingam is a good film that showcases the problems, a woman faces when she doesn’t have the legal papers of her marriage. If certain scenes were cut, then, the film would have been crisper and better. Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh had added weightage to the roles and impressed the audience.
