Star Performance

Dhanush is good in his dialogues, expressions, and body language. James Cosmo and Joju George fit well in their roles.

Karthik Subbaraj has taken us to London and showed us the Dhanush magic. Although the screenplay is racy in the first half, it is not much impressive in the second half. After the death of Sivadoss, certain things seem to have a dip. Joju George is a good actor, and he has done a good job. But, as he is not familiar with the Tamil audience, his character didn’t impress. At one point, we feel that the film is nearing the climax, but we are made to travel long. The BGM and the songs are impressive. The cinematography is fantastic, and the beautiful locales of London are catchy. The production values are good.

What’s There?

  • Dhanush’s performance
  • Music and visuals are impressive
  • The racy first half

What’s Not There?

  • The second half should have been designed better

The film is definitely a treat for Dhanush fans. They might have felt better if it had been released in theaters. Although Jagame Thandhiram couldn’t match “Petta,” it is worth watching, once!
