Plot

Athirayar and Kosalai are the parents of Kannabiran, a lawyer. Kannabiran stands against injustice and supports the people who seek justice. Aadhini is head over heels with Kannabiran and sees him as Lord Murugan. Inba, the son of a central minister, exploits the women and makes it a business with his gang. They shoot some intimate videos and blackmail the ladies. In a situation, Kannabiran rescues Yazhnila, Aadhini’s friend from Inba. Soon, Inba threatens Kannabiran that if he doesn’t send Yazhnila back to him, he will release videos of hundreds of women, shot by hiding the cameras. What would Kannabiran do? Will he send Yazh to Inba or find and delete the videos shot by hidden cameras? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Suriya has done justice to the taken role. Sathyaraj and Saranya excel as usual. Priyanka is cute and has done her part perfectly. Devadarshini is impressive in her comedy role. Vinay fits well as the Smart Villain.

Analysis

The director has taken the Pollachi incident as the base. The story is not much unique. But, the performance of the stars matters. The director has picked the artists well and placed them in the right characters. The screenplay is gripping, and the execution is neat. However, some scenes resemble those from similar genre movies. The dialogues are good. The BGM by Imman is neat. The cinematography and editing are pretty decent.

Verdict

Pandiraj, famous for family entertainers with a social message, has tried out the same in ET. With the performance of the lead stars, the film tries to capture the attention of the audience. If we sideline the flaws, the film is watchable once for sure!
