Arthanaari is a low budget film that is women-oriented. With Nassar, Ramkumar, and Arundhati as the cast, let’s see how the movie has turned out to be.

Arundhati is a lady cop and the film revolves around how she faces all odds and emerges a winner with the support of Nasser and Ramkumar. Nasser is a good-hearted human being who adopts some kids and inculcates good values in them. Arundhathi tries to erase all the illegal activities in her locality and in the process faces pressure from her top officials. Watch the movie to know how it has turned out to be.

Star Performances

Arundhati has done her role with conviction; she has a meaty role and she has done a pretty good job. She has also glamour scenes to her credit. Nasser gives a seasoned performance in a role that has lots of positive shades.

Sundarra Elangovan has not only helmed direction for the movie but also written the story and screenplay. Directing such a film requires lot of guts and the director should be applauded for that initiative itself. The film is refreshing, however the director could have taken the pace well. All the same, he has done a good job in the action sequences.

What’s there?

  • The background music of V Selva Ganesh is an asset to the movie.
  • The climax of the movie is well shot.
  • Arundhati has done a convincing job in action sequences.
  • Nasser is one of the highlights of the movie. He has given a matured performance.

What’s not there?

  • The screenplay is a big letdown for the movie. Also the narration is not up to the mark.
  • The movie goes in the predictable lines.
  • Some scenes test our patience.
  • The comedy element doesn’t work well for the film.

Ardhanari can be watched by those who love action-oriented movies.
