The effect of jetlag is seldom touched in Kollywood, and when it becomes the crux of the film, it is absorbing. Well, the hero of the movie faces jet lag that acts as his foe. Director Ram Manoj Kumar has indeed come up with a novel idea.

Adhyan, who is an NRI, comes to Chennai from Japan to meet his online girlfriend (they get acquainted through Facebook and later turn lovers!). But unfortunately, things turn haywire when Adhyan faces jetlag. It's an advantage for some gangsters who plan on putting him on a fake encounter. Will Adhyan brave the medical conditions and get the love of his girlfriend? Watch the film to find out.

The director has presented the film in such a way that it is appealing to the audience. When one thinks that the hero and heroine would run behind trees and dance in a dreamy manner, there is a real twist. Such twists are the need of the hour. In fact, Adhyan is a thriller all the way.

Star Performances

Maheshwaran, Jayachandran and Jenish do their part well.

What's there?

  • The plot is intriguing.
  • There is some excellent twist in the movie.
  • The climax is just great in the film.
  • Action sequences are a class apart.
  • M Srinivasan's cinematography is ok.
  • There are some good scenes in the movie.

What's not there?

  • The flick is in predictable lines.
Music could have been scored better.
Sometimes we are left wondering as to what genre does this film exactly belong.

An interesting plot lifts this film. Watch it to feel the difference.
