Villali Veeran is a 2014 Malayalam film which talks about a love story and how a brother is ready to sacrifice everything for the happiness of his sisters.

Plot: Sidharthan (Dileep) is a middle- class vegetable seller in a small village. He is of a type that he is ready to sacrifice anything just for the sake of his family’s happiness. He is an ordinary person who loves his sisters very much and had been protected by him. He is one who does not think about him and wants to do everything possible for his sisters. He desires to rise above his standard and therefore starts to expand his business. But in doing so, he lands up in various troubles. Earlier the flick had been named as Bhuddettan, but the makers thought that it would hurt the emotions of Buddhists. Therefore they changed the name to be Villali Veeran. The songs are great, and the strings are loud which leave a good sensation to the audience. The rhythms are something which last longer in ears of the people. The story was made up in such a manner that there is a proper blend of humor and romance in the flick and is thus enjoyed by the spectators.

The scenes shot had been constructed in such a way that they are very intriguing and thus makes the viewers entertained. Thus they are liked by them. He has successfully shown the relationship between a brother and his sisters and thus this theme has achieved a lot of praise by the audience.

Star Performances: It is another film which features Dileep. Dileep’s role is intriguing but is acting is not up to the mark. He was criticized a lot by the audience for his choice of films and his continuous bad performance in them. Although he tries his every possible effort to make it a super- hit at the box- office but was rated as a below average movie. There are many comic scenes in the picture, but these scenes do not make the viewers laugh and lead to boredom. The acting of other actors was well, but more effort was expected from Dileep due to his stardom.

2. The scenes are colorful and engage the audience.

1. Proper characterization of the characters is not there.

2. There are many scenes which are ending abruptly.

3. The jokes created do not make the spectators laugh and also were double meaning jokes.

4. The scenes were boring and predictable with a lot of melodrama. 5. It is a bit lengthy and needs editing.

Verdict: The movie is a typical Dileep flick with all the old and boring dialogues. The story does not give anything different to the audience. With such a length the viewers wait on for finishing up of the movie.
