Vaashi is a courtroom drama directed by Vishnu Raghav. Suresh Kumar produced the film. Kailas Menon composed the music. Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh played the lead roles. “Nandu,” Kottayam Ramesh, Maya Vishwanath, Rony David, Baiju, and Maya Menon are in the supporting cast. Roby Varghese George cranked the camera, and the editing is by Mahesh Narayanan.
Plot
Ebin Mathew and Madhavi Mohan are advocates and best pals. While they wanted to make something big in their career, they had to cross various obstacles. Were they able to achieve something in their career or lost their career to their commitments?
Star Performance
Tovino Thomas managed to do justice to the given role, a struggling junior advocate. But, Keerthy Suresh disappoints the audience. Though she tried to showcase herself as a strong professional, it didn’t work out.
Analysis
After a long, Keerthy played the lead role in Mollywood, and hence the expectations were high. But, she couldn’t satisfy the audience. She didn’t fit well in the role. She played wonderfully in her latest Saani Kaayidham with “Selvaraghavan.” In her latest Telugu film Sarkaaru Vaari Paata with Mahesh Babu, Keerthy’s performance was appreciated. But, what’s gone wrong in this film? The story is okayish, but the execution lacks some grip. The cinematography and the music are decent.
What’s There?
- The production values are good
- The visuals and music are decent
What’s Not There?
- Keerthy didn’t fit well in the character
Verdict
Although Tovino did an excellent job portraying a struggling lawyer, the other main lead Keerthy didn’t fit in character and disappointed her fans!
