Style that was supposed to be released on Christmas has released now. Has this emerged a winner with style? Read more to find out.

Unni Mukundan works as a car mechanic (he also has a passion for cars and bikes) and like any other typical mass hero of Indian films he leads a happy life. He lives with his parents and younger brother. It happens that he falls in love with Priya. There is also another story of Tovino Thomas in the film. Tovino is somewhat an eccentric, and he enters the lives of Unni and Priya. Here is the main twist of the story.

Star Performances

Unni Mukundan is very much at ease with the stylish makeover and fight scenes. In fact, it is apparent that he has grabbed the chance to prove his mettle in Mollywood. Tovino Thomas has done full justice to his role while Priya looks cute and does what is required of her. Baiju and Vijayaraghavan do a decent job.

Binu S, who directed a surprise hit of Mollywood, Itihaasa, has helmed direction for Style. In this action thriller, he has infused all the commercial elements that are essential for a complete potboiler. A car forms the main surprise of the movie, and you have got to watch the movie to understand it.
Just like the title Style, the movie tries to tell an old story only with a new style. There seems to be no job for the screenwriter in this movie.
This film, which has nothing new to offer, banks on the execution style. Meanwhile, the typical bond (rivalry and love) between brothers is shown in this film.

What’s there?

  • BGM by Rahul Raj complements with the tempo of the film. However, we get reminded of some Tamil films.
  • The fight scenes are the main highlights of the film.
  • The director has interspersed all the commercial elements in a balanced manner.
  • Sinoj P Ayyappan’s cinematography is outstanding, and he has brought before our eyes great visuals.

What’s not there?

Music of Jassie Gift is just average.

Viewers who are accustomed to the typical commercial entertainers of Kollywood and Tollywood will like this movie.
