Plot

In the village of Kumbalangi, there was a family with four brothers. After the death of their father, their mother decided to go to be a spiritual person on a Christian mission. The four brothers are Saji, Bonny, Bobby, and Frankie. Saji is the oldest and is the stepbrother for his younger siblings. Their mother left them in the care of Saji. Saji is now the head of the family. Bonny is the child who is mute. Saji always be angry with Bonny as he is unemployed. Franky does not like Saji and Bonny’s constant fights with each other. Bobby is in love with the nearby neighbor, Baby. He wants to marry her. For that, she suggests him to ask about their marriage to his brother Swami. Swami rejected it an instant and embarrassed Bobby by making harsh remarks about his family’s financial condition. Each brother will face their problem, and they will face the issues as a family. Will Bobby marry Baby? Will this dysfunctional family become normal? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Soubin Shahir, as Saji Napoleon, did an incredible performance in the film. He was a perfect elder brother to his younger siblings. He always tries his best to bring peace to the family. He was excellent in his character, as usual. Shane Nigam, as Bobby Napoleon, was brilliant in the film. Her detailing of the character was outstanding. Sam did a fantastic performance in the movie as the unemployed youngster. He was good at romance too. One would hate Fahadh Faasil, as Shammi Sreenivasan, after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. There was perfect antagonist, which this film needed. Everything was excellent, especially his dialogue delivery. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was great, funny, and entertaining. The film focus on the central theme of the togetherness of the family. The film also shows case how the world wants men in society. It criticizes the patriarchal system in most Indian families. It revealed how women are seen in community. The storyline were great. The scripting and the dialogues were perfectly structured and framed. The cinetomagraphy and direction in the film was excellent. The story seems to be realistic, which makes it more engaging to the audience. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent.
