Kho Kho is a sports film scripted and directed by Rahul Riji Nair. The film has "V J Rajisha Vijayan," Mamitha Baiju, Venkitesh VP, Vettukili Prakash, Renjit Shekar, Arjun Ranjan and Sreejith Babu in the main cast. First Print Studios produced the film. Sidhartha Pradeep composed the music. Tobin Thomas cranked the camera and editing is by Christy Sebastian.
Maria Francis, a former athlete, who suffers from a financial crisis, joins a school as a PT teacher. But, her past disturbs her much. She chooses Kho Kho and trains the talented girls. She puts a lot of effort into making them achieve what she couldn’t. Did they succeed? The rest of the film deals with it.
Rajisha is perfect in her role. She shines well in various emotions and impresses the audience. She looks pretty without makeup. Mamitha has done justice to the given role.
Although sports thrillers and biographical movies are not new to us, this gives us a good movie-watching experience. The perfect script, screenplay and narration with the stars' performance set a good example for a simple yet attractive movie. The characters are designed well and the casting is good. The music is okayish and the cinematography is perfect.
What’s Not There?
Kho Kho is a watchable sports movie with some good performances. Soon, Rajisha would join the league of good performers, who are in demand to play in the women-centric films!
