John and Kurien have been friends for years. They want their kids, Eesho and Anna, to get married. Eesho and Anna are working in Bangalore. Though their parents want them to get married, Eesho and Anna are not interested. John doubts if Eesho could impress Kurien. None of their families know what is brewing between Eesho and Anna. Were they love some other people? The rest of the story deals with their families and the relationship between Eesho and Anna.
As usual, Mohanlal has done justice to the given role. He fits in the shoes of John. The chemistry between Mohanlal and Prithviraj works out well. Kalyani is decent with her performances. It is interesting to see Mallika Sukumaran as Prithviraj’s Ammachi.
The story is quite exciting, and the screenplay is okayish. Certain scenes involving Jagadish with Mohanlal and Lalu Alex seem to be lengthy, and if it had been trimmed, it would have helped the movie's length. Some characters were not written well, and certain comedy scenes seemed to be forcedly inserted, and it didn't make the audience laugh. The BGM and cinematography are pretty decent.
What's Not There?
Although the film has some negative points, for the performances of Lalettan, Prithviraj, and Kalyani, the film attracts the audience's attention. If you are a fan of any of them, you will definitely like the movie.
