Bheeshma Parvam is scripted and directed by Amal Neerad. The film is co-scripted by Devadath Shaji and PT Ravishankar. Manu Jose aka RJ Murukan penned the dialogues. Sushin Shyam composed the music. “Anend C Chandran” cranked the camera, and editing is by Vivek Harshan. “Mammootty,” Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Farhaan Faasil, Shine Tom Chacko, Anasuya Bharadwaj, “Nadhiya,” Dileesh Pothan, Jinu Joseph, Nedumudi Venu, Manohari Joy, Arunkumar, “Lena,” “K P A C Lalitha,” Srinda, Veena Nandakumar, Anagha, Abu Salim, Sudev Nair, Harish Uthaman, Shebin Benson, Nisthar Sait, Maala Parvathi, Kottayam Ramesh, Pauly Valsan, and Dhanya are cast in the film.
Michael is the leader of the Anjoottikkaran clan. With a not-so-good past, Michael cares for his family. Many people in his family didn’t like his leadership, turning into his foes. They want to finish off Michael’s rule, and hence Michael has to face enemies from all sides. Was he successful in holding his power? The rest of the film deals with this.
Mammootty has done a great job. He fits in the role perfectly, and his emotions, body language, and dialogue delivery are fantastic. Nedumudi Venu and KPAC Lalitha, the veterans, who recently left to the eternal world, proved that they are experienced actors soaked in talent. Sreenath Bhasi, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Srinda, Kottayam Ramesh, and Veena Nandakumar have given interesting performances. The rest of the stars excelled well in the given roles.
As expected, Amal Neerad has given an action thriller to satisfy the audience. The characters are finely penned and the detailing is interesting. Many characters appear for a short period and create a long-lasting impression. Right from Nadhiya to Anasuya Bharadwaj, all the stars are given importance and they played their roles perfectly. The characters in the story are related to Mahabharata. The BGM is fantastic, and the visuals are impressive too. The editing is good.
What’s Not There?
Bheeshma Parvam deals with a family lead, his torturing past, and his busy present. The director has given a good film that suits action movie lovers and general moviegoers with a set of talented artists!
