Tom & Jerry Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Raaghav Vinay Shivagange
- Performance of the stars is good
- Script and screenplay are impressive
- A few logical loopholes
Tom & Jerry is a romantic comedy entertainer scripted and directed by Raaghav Vinay Shivagange. Raju Sheregar produced the film. Sanketh MYS cranked the camera and Suraj Ankolekar edited the film. Nischith Korodi, Chaithra Rao, Surya Shekhar, “Tara” and Jai Jagadish are cast.
Dharma, who lives in a slum dreams to become rich. Yet, he don’t have any idea to lead a wealthy and happy life and spends his time with his friends. One fine day, he meets his childhood friend Sathya, a wealthy girl. After her entry, Dharma’s life started changing. Did he start making money? The rest of the story deals with it.
Nischith Korodi did his best. He is good at various emotions. Chaitra is impressive in her role. Tara and Jai Jagadish are so natural as usual.
Although the outline seems to be an old story, which we had seen umpteen times, the director had made it a bit special with its screenplay and characterization. There are a few emotional scenes that make the audience feel good, after watching. The leads are properly picked and they add value to the story. The film is technically sound and the production values are good too.
What’s Not There?
With a good set of actors, strong screenplay and direction, Tom & Jerry impresses. The well shot film is definitely watch-worthy!
