Plot
Ganesh is a reporter who writes about historical places. One day he travels to a village for his story. As his friend Vishwa stays in a nearby town, Ganesh decides to stay with him. Upon reaching his house, Ganesh is shocked that his friend is no more, leaving his aging mother and a young widow behind. How is the widow related to him? What will he do after seeing the suffering of two women? You will have the answers after watching the film.
Star Performance
The women in this movie were a treat to watch. Samhita Vinya, as Seethamma, lived the character, and we, as the audience, could empathize with her. The mother character was well written and portrayed.
Analysis
It is the story of a widow in the 90s. In this society, if a wife dies, the husband can marry again, but when a husband dies, the wife is not allowed to remarry. The film tells the painful story of a troubled woman who does not have the support of many people. The 90s atmosphere is very well illustrated.
