Salaga Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Duniya Vijay
- Sanjana Anand
- Music Composer:
- Decent script, screenplay, and direction
- The performances are appreciable
- Violent and loud
Salaga is scripted and directed by Duniya Vijay. It is co-scripted by Maasthi Upparahalli. SP Srikanth produced the film. Duniya Vijay, Sanjana Anand, “Dhananjaya,” BV Bhaskar, Achyuth Kumar, Rangayana Raghu and “Nagabhushan” play prominent roles in Salaga. Shiva Sena handled the camera, and Charanraj is the music composer.
Salaga is a criminal who starts killing people, and his killing spree is put on hold by ACP Samrat. Was he able to control Salaga? What is the reason behind these killings? The rest of the story deals with all these.
Duniya Vijay has done his best. Dhananjay is impressive in his new role; his body language and mannerisms are pretty decent. Sanjana Anand and Cockroach Sudhi have done their roles perfectly. The rest of the cast is neat with the given jobs.
Salaga is the debut directorial venture of Duniya Vijay. His way of narrating is quite decent and doesn’t look like a debutant director. His performance is okay, and the cast selection is neat. Dhananjaya, Sanjana Anand, and Cockroach Sudhi’s selection show that the casting team has worked well. But, the film has heaps of violence, and it will not be a choice of all moviegoers. The music, cinematography, and editing team had done their respective jobs perfectly.
What’s Not There?
Although Duniya Vijay has succeeded as a director and actor, the film doesn’t cater to the general audience. If you like to watch action films with bloodshed, this is a perfect choice!
