Rakshit Shetty leads a coveted life; his profession is in sync with his passion i.e. a wildlife conservationist and his marriage is also fixed with his childhood sweetheart Haripriya. Rakshit leaves for Kashmir for the sake of his profession, and it is decided by the families that the lovers would get married after he returns. But the irony is that there is a hurdle in the form of Naxals in Haripriya’s life. What is in store for Rakshit when he returns from his assignment? Watch the movie to uncover this question.

Star Performances

Rakshit Shetty has delivered a convincing performance though Haripriya has a meatier role than him in Ricky. Haripriya, who essays the role of both Radha and Seetha, has done a superb job. Achyut Kumar gets into the skin of his character.

Rakshit Shetty had a decent hit in Vaasthu Prakara. This film has the potential to give him a good name. Most portions of the movie were shot in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. The movie is set in the backdrop of romance and delves into the issues of Naxals. The director has been very careful in showing an unbiased opinion on the issues dealt with in this film.
