Ranam Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- V Samudra
- Varalaxmi Sarathkumar
- Chiru’s presence
- Weak execution
- Derailed screenplay
As some say that the nation’s future is in the students' hands, four students decided to help the farmers by solving their issues. To solve the farmers’ problems, they need to clear the corrupted politicians. This is what they take on their hands to save the country and its backbones.
Chiranjeevi Sarja plays a good cop and he fits well in the role. The rest of the stars had done what is asked of them.
When the posters indicated that the film has Chiru as the main star, the movie revealed that he had done an extended cameo along with Chethan and Varalaxmi. The comedy tracks didn’t work out. The script is okay, but the execution is not impressive. The cinematography and the music are just okay. If the screenplay is designed keeping in mind today’s trend, it would have been better. When the main plot focuses on the farmers' issues, the screenplay spoiled the plot with some unnecessary additions that overshadowed farmers’ issues.
What’s Not There?
The film started on a good note but derailed due to commercial elements. If you don’t have any film to watch this weekend, you can try this out!
