Veerappa Basappa Kadlikoppa is a social enthusiast, who lives in Naragunda. He is soft and leading a peaceful life. But, everything had gone done upside down when the government tortured the farmers by imposing the additional tax. Following, this Veerappa turned a social activist and raises his voice against the government. What happened to him? Was he able to make the government get back the tax? Watch the movie to know the rest.
The performance of the stars is quite decent and they had done what is necessary for their roles.
The plot reminds us of the incident that happened forty years ago. The movie has a good script. But, the screenplay and the narration are not as impressive as the script. As the director has inserted a lot of commercial items to make the movie appealing to the audience, the film gets derailed from the concept. But did it work out with the audience? The movie has some duet songs that are forcibly inserted into the historical concept. The film is not technically sound.
What's Not There?
Naragunda Bandaya has a lot of commercial elements and fewer historical events. If you want to watch an old movie without any latest techniques then you could try this!
