Movies dealing with exploring new worlds, getting acquainted with the bad world and finding it difficult to succeed in one’s ambition are often made. Star Performances

Chetan Chandra has enough scope to showcase his acting prowess. He has done well in the action, comedy, and dancing. The rest of the actors including Aishwarya Nag, Usha Bhandary, Ramesh Bhat and Mitra do what is required of them.

What’s there?

1. The plot is quite interesting.
2. Music composer Manikanth Kadri, who has composed four numbers for the movie, has done a neat job.

What’s not there?

1.  The narration of the movie could have been better.
1.  The showing of Chetan’s body sometimes looks unnecessary.
2.  Some of the scenes seem to be added just for the sake of it.

The movie is named Jaathre keeping in mind that a carnival (Jaathre in Kannada) is held in villages once a year. Here we meet various people during one day itself. Similarly, the hero of this movie meets different people on a particular day.
Raviteja has helmed the direction of this movie. He could have worked well on the narration part; he could have kept the narration crisp. There are many subplots in the movie, and this could have been presented well by the director.
Chetan Chandra has sported 8-packs for the movie, and he is seen flaunting it in the movie. He is quite at ease with this avatar.

The filmmaker could have concentrated more on the execution part of the movie. In that way, the film would have turned out well.
