By Two Love Movie Review
By Two Love is scripted and directed by Hari Santosh. Dhanveer Gowda and Sree Leela played the lead roles. Sadhu Kokila, Pavithra Lokesh, "Shivaraj K R Pete," Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani, and Achyuth Kumar are cast in prominent roles. "B Ajaneesh Loknath" composed the music. Mahendra Simha cranked the camera. KM Prakash edited the film. Nisha Venkat produced the movie.
Balu and Leela meet in Bangalore. As they wanted a life as per their wish, they left their homes and headed to the Capital City. They work in the same company and find that they have similar characters. They were initially friends; soon, they got deeply attracted and decided to start a live-in lifestyle with a child. Could they continue their relationship? Will society accept it? The rest of the story deals with it.
Leela is very much impressive with her role. She plays so naturally and steals the show. Dhanveer did his part well. The rest of the cast fit well in the given roles.
The director penned a different story and picked up a couple of talented youth to play the lead pair. While we enjoy the stars' performances with some funny dialogues in between, we couldn't fail to notice the logic has gone missing at some places. Although the director wanted to speak about marriage and culture, it should have been dealt with softly. The climax seems to be very preachy. The cinematography and music are pretty decent.
- The script is neat
- The performances of the stars are appreciable
What's Not There?
- Preachy climax
The film is an excellent attempt to prove some societal changes are not suitable for a healthy culture. However, if they had avoided the preachy items in the climax, it would have been better!
