Turtle is an award-winning film directed by “Dinesh S Yadav.” Ashok Choudhary produced the film. Sanjay Mishra. Teetu Varma. Amol Deshmukh, Yash Rajasthani, Ramnath Choudhary, Zoya Shah, Plabita Borthakur, Manoj Joshi, Ankit Anil Sharma, Naveen Kasturia, and Monica Sharma are cast. Yogesh Koli handled the camera and editing is by Aseem Sinha. Kunaal Vermaa and Repariyaa Baalam composed the music. The film is inspired by the work of Vijaydan Detha, a Rajasthani writer.

Plot

A village in Rajasthan experiences water scarcity. When everyone is getting ready to purchase water, Ramkaran Choudhary, who doesn’t want to pay for water, decides to dig a well. After the birth of his grandson, the village got water scarcity, and hence, the villagers call him unlucky. So, Ramkaran wanted to get rid of the wrong name of his grandson given by the villagers. Was he successful in his attempt? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Sanjay Mishra excelled in his performance as Ramkaran. His expressions are fantastic. Ankit Anil Sharma and Monica Sharma had done a good job. The rest of the cast, including Ramnath Choudhary, supported the story and the lead cast well with their flawless performances.

Analysis

The director entered into the story, not taking much time. The screenplay is exciting, and the story moves at the right pace. The concept is good, and the execution is neat. Proper artists are chosen for the characters, and hence the story moves well with some decent performances. The cinematography is perfect, as the film is shot in places with water shortages.
