Torbaaz is an action thriller movie directed by Girish Malik. Raju Chadha, Puneet Singh, Rahul Mittra, Girish Malik and Amardeep S Reen produced the film. Sanjay Dutt plays the lead role along with Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Dev. Gavie Chahal, Kuwaarjeet Chopra, Humayoon Shams Khan, Rahul Mittra, Priyanka Verma, Rakshit Wahi, Vansh Sayani and Rockey Raina are in the cast. Bickram Ghosh and Vikram Montrose composed the music. Dr Naseer Khan, who worked for the Indian Army, lost his family in a suicide bomb attack. He had been working in the Indian embassy in Afghanistan. After five years of the incident, he goes to Afghanistan. When he feels that his life has nothing, he meets some children from the refugee camps. He decides to help the children by teaching them to learn cricket in-depth. Qazar belongs to a terrorist organization, which trains the kids as suicide bombers. What is Naseer’s part in this? Did he rescue the children? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Sanjay Dutt tried his level best to keep the film alive. Rahul and Nargis’ characters are not strong enough to explore their potential.

The story starts with an interesting note with Sanjay Dutt getting ready for a flight journey to Kabul from India's Capital City. He seemed to be very down as he lost his wife and son. When this is the start, the audience developed some interest in watching the film. But, the narration didn’t make them sit straight. Certain scenes seem to be illogical and old too. Although there are good actors in the film, we are disappointed with the characterization. Sanjay Dutt carried the film on his shoulders and worked hard for its success. If Rahul’s character had been strong enough, then it would have been an impressive watch. However, watching the children suicide bombers is heartbreaking.

What’s There?

Sanjay Dutt’s performance is good

What’s Not There?

Characters should have been dealt with better options

Narration is not up to the mark

People expected an awesome film with a good star cast, but it didn’t satisfy the audience. If you want to watch a movie just for time pass, then you can try this!
