Plot

Narayan Gurjar is an honest and self-respecting man. His circumstances lead him to work as a security supervisor in the village factory. Allegations come upon him of stealing goods worth 5 Lakhs from the factory in front of his son Ravinder. This incident creates a deep humiliation in his mind. Ravinder witnessed all of these and is deeply hurt by all this. Narayan Gurjar makes his son take an oath that he will erase all the humiliation his father faced and become a respected citizen in society. The rest of the film revolves around Ravinder’s attempt to fulfill his promise to his father and how he upholds the values instilled in him by his father.

Star Performance

Gajendra Chauhan does a decent job as the honest Narayan Gurjar, while Ravindra Gurjar does an okay job with his character. The rest of the cast, including Priyanka S Sharma, Rekha Singh Bio coming soon... >> Read More... , and Mushtaq Khan, only produce an ordinary performance.

Analysis

Sher Gujjar is an out-and-out family drama with action-packed scenes. Akash Gupta focuses on the societal side of the story, leading to a very routine script that the audience have seen before. There is no space or opportunity for the actors to provide a memorable performance. The actors delivered ordinary performances and moments that left the audience thoroughly bored. Even the dialogue makes you feel like you have heard them a million times before. The music does not give any life to the scenes with the below-average lyrics and editing works. There does not have enough depth for the actors to bring out their full potential, failing to produce any remarkable performance. Almost all the scenes are predictable, and the climax is something the audience have seen in past films. The lack of novelty in the script and poor support from the technical side guides the film to its demise.

Verdict

The film combines all the ingredients that the audience has seen umpteen times over the years. All that the film provides is a family drama with a touch of mass masala that does not reach the viewers. There are no exciting factors in the movie that will keep the audience hooked to their seats. The audience are left dry by the poor background score and music. Overall, a weak attempt by the team as they create yet another flop formula that the audience has gotten used to and bored of.
