Flight Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Suraj Joshi
- Performances of the lead stars are decent
- BGM didn’t blend well with the script
- Certain repetitive scenes irk the audience
Flight is scripted and directed by Suraj Joshi. Along with Mohit Chadda, Suraj, Babita Ashiwal and K Chadda produced the film. The film has the star cast of Mohit Chadda, Zakir Hussain, Pavan Malhotra, Shibani Bedi and Vivek Vaswani. Smriti Minocha composed the music.
Ranveer Malhotra is running a huge organization, Adityaraj Aviation. He is a cool guy and a soft business personality. He deals with his businesses easily, as his words are that catchy! He gets into trouble, as an aircraft designed by his company had a clash and 70 people are killed. What is the reason behind the accident? Was Ranveer hooked? The rest of the story deals with these.
Mohit performed neatly, yet his moves remind us of Shah Rukh Khan. Zakir Hussain and Pavan Malhotra did their best.
The film has a decent story. Some scenes are repetitive and irk the audience. The screenplay should have been designed better with some gripping moments. The BGM didn’t gel well with the script. For these kinds of thriller genre films, the music is important, and it is a great setback in this film. Although some characters are penned well and the right artists are placed, some characters didn’t fit in the story due to improper scripting.
What’s Not There?
If there had been some gripping scenes and proper narration, the movie would have reached a better place. However, it can be watched once!
