- The visuals and action choreography are the greatest pluses
- A few flaws in both the halves
Dhaakad is an action thriller scripted and directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai. It is co-scripted by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra. Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai produced the film. Tetsuo Nagata cranked the camera, and editing is by “Rameshwar S Bhagat.” Dhruv Ghanekar scored the BGM and the songs are by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, Dhruv Ghanekar, Badshah, and Hiten Kumar. Kangana Ranawat, Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, Sharib Hashmi and Saswata Chatterjee are cast.
Rudraveer has been under the radar for a decade, as he has been dealing with arms and human trafficking. Agni, a bold agent from the International Task Force, is appointed to deal with this case. Was she able to complete the task? What was Rudraveer’s response to Agni? Was she spared? The rest of the film deals with it.
Kangana Ranaut has played the role of Agni flawlessly. Arjun Rampal has worked hard to play the menacing villain, and it is visible on the screen. Divya Dutta is perfect in her role. The rest of the supporting characters did justice to the given characters.
The director has picked the artists well for this action thriller. Kangana and Arjun Rampal are the finest choices for their characters. The action scenes are fantastically designed. Kangana’s efforts are adorable. The visuals are superb, and the editing department has done its job pretty decent. The BGM is fantastic too. The film is technically sound.
