But their love is not well-received by Inayat’s uncle.

Also, Faissal is not a wealthy person. And our dear Inayat gets married to an elderly man, Salaam (she yields to his wealth). And problems arise when Salaam takes the life of Faisal’s mom since the latter revealed that Inayat is the love-interest of Faisal. What Faisal does is for you to guess.

Inayat should work a lot to improve her acting prowess. On the flip side, the film is infused with a lot of tragic scenes. The showing of tragedy is not something which will not appeal to the audience, but showing it in a good way is what that matters. In this regard, the screenplay and presentation are weak.

Analysis Faisal seems to be a star brother who is relentless in his efforts to give a hit. His father introduced him as a male lead in Madhosh but that was a disaster at the box office. But this man tried his luck time and again and now he has acted in this film. Chinar-Dastan-E-Ishq is indeed a perfect plot and some twists add luster to the flick. But there are also certain scenes that test your patience.

Well, the lovers are supposed to be in their 20s but Faisal and Inayat don't live the age. Jeet Jalti Hai was well-received at its time, but the million dollar question is will the audience accept such an old story? There are lots of flashback sequences in this film that only drag.

Some scenes are unnecessarily added in this movie.

Verdict: The one solace of the film is this; Kashmir’s mountains with snow topping are indeed a beauty to watch. Nothing more to say about this old love story.
