The only evidence which remains is the photograph of the crew members taken by his wife. Jai utilizes his gift and enters the photograph, each time from a different subject point of view and collects clues each time. Happi takes the clues from Jai and formulates a theory. As he keeps getting into the photos, Jai could feel his body deteriorating. Meanwhile, with a mysterious SUV, Jai, and his girlfriend are sketched to be murdered. For the final time, Jai gets into the photo and starts collecting the last traces of the murder. He is launched by his lost twin, Jeet, presumed dead a long time ago due to a fall from a cliff. Sheila kills Happi with the help of an axe when he arrives to help Jai. The duo disposes Happi’s body and decides to repeat the same with Jai too. So, what happens to Jai in then end? Does he fall into the sketch of Jeet and Sheila? Or does he escape and catch his father’s killer? Watch the movie to find out.

STAR PERFORMANCES

Akshay Kumar, as we all know gives his best always. He has done the same in this movie too. And the always beautiful Ayesha takia also does a fine job. The other actors like Sharmila Tagore etc. to have done a very decent job. Overall, it is a good performance by the cast, though certain things like comedy between thriller scenes could be avoided.

POSITIVES

The main positive of this movie is the location. The ever beautiful Canada, its jaw-dropping landscapes, etc. makes us wow at it. The other good thing is that the pace of the movie is kept. The correct parts of the story unfold in the correct places. The cinematography was also decent, giving a thrilling feel to the audience.

NEGATIVES

The main flaw in this movie is the illogical parts at certain places. Most of the characters don’t have any continuation. They appear, disappear and reappear which is completely out of sync with the movie and confuses the audience. Although the screenplay is decent enough, the final few minutes loses the grip, which is an essential part of any thriller movie. The soundtrack was also average. It didn’t create the required feel at appropriate places. Overall, the movie had several plot holes.

VERDICT

8 x 10 Tasveer is quite an average film. Due to the exotic locations, this film is quite deceptive enough. But the director loses his control over each and every department. So, if you are really blessed with a lot of free time and don’t know what to do, and you are ready to overlook the loopholes, this might be the movie for you.
