The Hustle Click to look into! >> Read More... is directed by Chris Addison. The film has Rebel Wilson Rebel Wilson is an American comedian, actress, and >> Read More... , Anne Hathaway She must be the most popular one-film-stardom as “ >> Read More... , Alex Sharp and Deepak Anand Deepak Anand is an Indian actor, editor, producer, >> Read More... . The movie is the remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that released in1988. The only difference in the story is the gender change.

Plot

Josephine Chesterfield is a British lady who cheats innocent men for money. Penny Rust, an Australian lady crosses her life. Her method is different from that of Josephine. Both these women join their hands to target a techy billionaire. Did they get success in their attempt? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Anne Hathaway is perfect in her role as Josephine Chesterfield. Rebel Wilson plays Penny, neatly. Both of their chemistry had worked out well. Alex Sharp had done justice to his role.

Analysis

With the gender switch, Chris Addison designed the screenplay and made it a women-centric film. Although the screenplay is good and the execution is neat, not all the comical scenes are impressive. The screenplay should have been a little crisper, to avoid the lag. We do accept that there are a few laughs out loud moments, which the entire theater enjoy, but some of the comedy scenes seem to be boring. Although the length of the film is just 90 minutes, it becomes boring after a certain point.

What’s There?

  • Performance is appreciable
  • Technically the movie is good

What’s Not There?

  • Length should have been trimmed

Verdict

Although the film has some laugh out loud moments, we couldn’t enjoy the film throughout. If the screenplay had been a little crisper, it would’ve been better.
